Besides installing, it is needed to make few steps to configure and run database engine as service/daemon. In previous post I show how to install and configure PostgreSQL server on openSUSE. Unfortunately multiplicity of linux distributions is disadvantageous for us (in some cases of course) and installation on Fedora is a little diffrent.
In few steps I show how to install postgresql server on openSUSE. On the web I found some guides how to install postgres on this distro, but them was not working for me. Some describes installing on older version. I tested my solution on openSUSE 12.1, but I thik it also should work on 12.2 and 11.x versions.
After several times deploying war packages at JBoss Aplication Server we could see this error. PermGen is permament generation of objects in VM. That means that some items such as class names, internalized strings, annotations are stored in JVM. This part of JVM is never clean by garbage collector.
